DESCRIPTION

WhaleChat is a decentralized cryptocurrency communication platform that allows cryptocurrency owners to send messages to each other.

The users account is cryptographically linked to his/her wallets by means of a double digital signature scheme or *asset proof*. The app verifies the authenticity of every message and asset proofs linked to the message sender. This gives users the certainty that the sender owns those wallets and thus the assets in them.

The wallets private keys are never stored in the app, making impossible to steal the funds in them.

The app has been designed with security and privacy in mind. Messages are relayed through the Whisper protocol, a decentralized, secure and untraceable peer-to-peer (P2P) messaging protocol.
